Principal Julie Jackson leads the Hedgehogs at Haygood Elementary. A Lamar CISD educator for thirteen years, she served as a teacher and assistant principal. As a graduate of Terry High School, she is proud to call Lamar CISD home. Mrs. Jackson graduated from the University of North Alabama with her bachelor’s degree and from the University of Houston-Victoria with her master’s degree in educational leadership. Mrs. Jackson is committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every student is valued, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She believes every child can be successful and is dedicated to making decisions that are always in the best interest of students.
